Both. A single planter bed, a gravel refresh or a drip-line repair is fine — same as a full front-and-back redesign. If it's landscaping and it's in the valley, ask.

How long does a typical front yard take?

Most desert front-yard conversions run three to seven working days once we start — demo and grading, then irrigation, then gravel and planting. I give you a day-by-day plan with the quote.

Can you help with the SNWA water rebate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I design to the Southern Nevada Water Authority's Water Smart Landscapes rebate spec — minimum planting coverage, approved plant list, correct drip — and walk you through the application. The water district pays cash per square foot of grass you convert.

What plants actually survive a Las Vegas summer?

Plenty — desert willow, red yucca, Texas sage, lantana, agave, palo verde, bougainvillea, ocotillo. I plant what suits your light and how much green you want, and set the drip so it establishes properly through the first summer.

I'm getting the Nevada contractor license and insurance squared away now — this line updates with the license number the moment it's issued. In the meantime you get a written scope and fixed price before any work starts, and I'm the person on your job every day.

How does pricing and payment work?

Free written estimate with a fixed price — not a day rate. Typically a deposit to schedule and cover materials, then the balance on completion once you've walked it and you're happy.

Do you maintain the yard after it's built?

If you want it kept, yes — scheduled visits for trimming, drip checks, gravel top-ups and seasonal cleanups. Plenty of clients just want it built well and left low-maintenance, which is also the point of a good desert design.
